Vitamins, what kind are you all taking?????
Hi Wendy, I know every Doc is different but this is one thing I'm sure we all need, I was given the first B-12 in the hospital before dicharge 3-26-04 and then another in the doc's office on 4-22-04 and when I return on June 22nd he gives everyone a scrit for B-12 to be injected at home one time a month for the rest of our lives I believe, so if I was you I would certainly ask your doc about this ok! hugz Mary
Hi Reenie, I am so happy to be off thoes childrens chewables, I hated them after one month and I was so tired from fighting my lil one for the purple ones...
I am taking a one a day, and 3 tums daily, a viactive chew when the mood stikes me, and I'm feeling great! Hope all is well with you! Hugz Mary

I dont know what everyone has heard about calcium but i went to a meeting this past weekend and they said that tums was not a good choice. it was said that calcium citrate is what we can absorb after surgery. the tums and other calcium just dont absorb for us because it needs acid and we dont produce enough. I myself take b12 sub. daily and calcium citrate as well as a chewable from centrum.
Hi La Rhonda, sounds like your doing very well also with the vitamins, Just checking to make sure everyone is pretty much taking the same things, I have also herd this from others about the calcium but I am drinking all the calcium I need on a daily basis , I drink Fat free mIlk 3 x a day 4-6oz
stay well! God Bless Mary
