Last message I posted was about the same thing being stuck!
Hello everyone
I posted a message on 04/30/04 and I talked about being stuck...I have actually gained 4lb!!!! =( I'm sooooo sad..I'm getting hungry again and really depressed...I've been working out and I don't know what is going on!!!!! I'm soo sad!! I want to cry!!!! Why!!!

God Please help me I'm weighing in at 214 and i'm really sad.

I know I know it's been posted before and I have even replied to some saying...don't get discouraged... But it sucks!!!!!!!!! I'm still weighing in at 210 I thought I would have gotten rid of them 10 pounds before going back to work i'm going back May 5th,,, and I was just really wanting to break the 200 pound mark...I haven't been under 200 since High School... I guess I'm gonna have to be patient

I had surgery the day before you and I was just on a plateau for 3 weeks. I was crying! I thought I would be this way forever. How many calories are you eating a day? I was eating about 700 or so and I was told to eat more. I made it up to 900 - 1000 and started making sure I got 64 oz of liquid in and I lost 6 lbs in one week. I'm am down 32lbs now. We should keep in touch! Hang in there!

Dont despair
It will start again. I felt the same way. I was on an 18 day plateau and GAINED and lost and GAINED and lost. It was AWFUL!!! What I did to break the plateau was I cut out all the snacky type carbs (not that there was alot mind you) I had like 4 tortilla chips every other day or so and would try a little bread A SMIDGEN. But I cut ALL that out stuck with GOOD protein like cheese and lean turkey and chicken, but most of all I started drinking my protein ice drinks. 20oz a bottle and 40 grams of protein. It curbed my appetite that was getting out of control and set me straight. I got in 80grams of protein a day and guess what! I lost 4 pounds!!! So you hang in there the body is in shock and is getting use to things. Up that protein (if you arent already) and kill any type of snack/carby thing whatsoever even if its one chip and that should kick start ya again. If not your body may still be adjusting. I will happen dont worry (think positive) remember stress causes weight gain as well

I know it seems bleak right now, and oh how I've been there. But in your case I would really have to look at how much you lost quickly and how your body has to catch up. If you were slow out of the gate I'd be less likely to say that, but it really does appear to me that your body is adjusting. And the gain could and likely is jus****er weight. You may find you lose weight around your period like many of us. I stall all the time and I have 78 lbs on you right now. So try not to dispair too much. I know it's hard....I really do. But maybe we (you and I and anyone else obsessing) and keep our eyes on 6 months later rather than the here and now. I'll bet it will be much better for both of us then!
