I've been AWOL for awhile and moody and yet when I need to vent, you all are still willing to help shore me up. You don't know how nice it is to feel cared for when you're feeling moody. K - I have to stop now because just about every damned thing I say makes me want to blubber. Dina - - bucking up so her toddler won't wonder why mommy is crying at the computer....

Yeah....our bodies have gone through hell and back, and yet, we STILL have to deal with Aunt Flo! Couldn't she go to the Bahamas for a month or so?!?! Cathy- Wishing she could use her frequent flyer miles to send Aunt Flo PACKIN' 271/231/160

Dina, I always look forward to your posts because you are so helpful and seem upbeat. If your blues are getting too much to handle, check with your surgeon to see if s/he will prescribe an anti-depressant for you. FWIW, my surgeon prescribes Zoloft for all of her patients. Take care, and God bless. {{{{{HUGS}}}}} -Marcie 275/248/135

Hey girl - looks like all us girls (for the most part) are cycling at the same time. I'm a moody "b". I'm surprised my 8 year old hasn't tried to come after me with a steak knife! Can't wait until she starts getting hormonal - OMG!!! Anyway - I've been AWOL for a while, too. I get depressed when I see how fast all the RNY patients are loosing. I'm a VBG and it comes off slower. Although I KNOW this logistically, I still get down about it. It's so hard not to compare myself to everyone else - I've been doing it all my life!! It IS nice to have somewhere to come to let off some steam! I love reading your posts - you are well-spoken (written) and always seem to have something interesting to say! Hang in there - we love you, too!! -Wendy 314/291/150

Dina, Vent away. That's why they call it a support group. We're always here and I for one take nothing personally so feel free to let it fly. Connie - who is more and more grateful for that hysterectomy at the age of 33

aww Dina!!! (((hugs))) moody or not we are here for ya! We all get moody. I was yesterday! Our bodies are yinging and yanging all over the place. our hormones are being abused Our bodies are like -what the heck is going on? - I mean no one is born with these tiny tummies so our bodies have to get use to it and its jerking us around. I also have felt SUPER emotional. I swear I could cry if I saw a puppy bark. The news breaks me down bad. Well it would break anyone down terrible. Especially recently with the amercian who was killed. I am from around the area he is from and its in every local newspaper and everywhere you step. God rest his soul and keep his family. Yeah emotions are on high for sure!!! Well we are here for ya and appreciate you as well Best Wishes! Elizabeth M -48lbs
