Tomorrow's the big day!
Well, after 2 weeks of low carbs (which triggered a gout attack -- ouch!) and a day of clear liquids, I can hardly believe almost eleven months of preparation are almost done. This time tomorrow I should have my hiatal hernia repaired and my AGB installed. I know this is a major step on my journey but by no means the end. God willing, I will finally have the tools I need to lose this weight for once and for all.
I'll be thinking of you all tomorrow -- keep me in your prayers.

It was great to sleep in my own bed last night. The Roxicet elixir is keeping the pain under control and I haven't had any trouble with nausea or getting enough fluid. I was even able to go up and down the basement stairs last night to do 2 small loads of laundry. It's just so weird to not feel hungry at all considering I haven't had any solid food since Sunday. The only difficult thing is using the spirometer when my diaphragm is so sore but I know it's important to keep my lungs clear.
I hope eveyone else is doing at least as well as I am.
