Holly,
I am glad you are back safe and sound. It is impressive that you did not gain. You will get back below 130 very quickly, I am sure. And yes, my scale is a Tanita. My doc uses one but his is huge and I know it cost a fortune compared to my little Target purchase.
Hugs,
Katy

No worries, Steph, you'll get it in gear. The first step is owning up to the "problem"...I know those lemon cookies and i agree that they ARE the DEBBBIIILLLL...
Here are my stats...
HW 242
LW Haven't been checking in
CW 115 lbs
Still losing but I went to the Dr yesterday and he gave me some Reglan to empty my tummy and help with the nausea and yuckiness I've been feeling. It didn't work last night, but this morning I was able to eat a bowl of cereal, which is the most I've eaten in several weeks...so that's a positive sign. I am getting stonger and healthier each day. God is good!! All the time!

Katy-
I just got one of those scales and plan on starting to use it soon- is your Tanita?
Hello everyone...
Finally back from Disneyworld with Grandma and the triplets and am happy to say I didn't gain while I was there- and considering the wine I had every night and the bigger meals I am very happy. The bad news is that I'm still out of my window- I'm at 133 and was at 126. I would like to stay between 125 and 130. So I need to lose a few pounds- but that's okay- I'm not freaking out yet.
My exercise needs to be upped cuz I am getting really flabby and my clothes are getting tighter in different spots.
Janie and Belle and Lori- glad to hear you are all recovering- sounds like it was a rough road for Janie and Lori- I'm still keeping you in my prayers...
Take care-
Holly

Wow Janie! I have been away from the boards for a couple of weeks just because of travel and hecticness (is that a word?). I had no idea that you were having to deal with this! I am so glad you are on the mend! I am so glad this is behind you. I guess any medical procedure has a scariness level to it!
Keep recovering and don't overdo it! I am assuming bikini pics will follow in another month of so? LOL
Hugs,
Katy

I continue to pray for you my friend, and Dwight and the boys. I am so glad that this is behind you and that you can just be loved on while you heal.
Hugs and much love,

Okay Stephanie I had a strange week last week and didn't post. Last week, I swear that I suddenly lost a dress size. Every thing went baggie, so I tried clothes, bras, etc on and they were all loose. WooHOoo! so the next morning I jumped on my scale and it said that I had gained 6 pounds! But since it is one of those that measure body fat and muscle weight, it said that I had LOST 2% of my body weight and that 4 pounds of that weight gain was muscle. What? I was kind of freaking out about the whole thing and even pestered the doctor about it when I went in for my B12 shot--LOL. He did tell me that if I gained that much muscle that the other two pounds was probably swelling.
Today, I weigh another 1% less on my body fat and another pound higher on my total muscle weight? Maybe I should never have gotten this scale!?! LOL

Anna,
I am so glad the doc has found something to give you relief. Have you noticed that since we have lost weight, it seems that we all take better care of ourselves? Good for us! I went through a period of time years ago that I battled with migraines occassionally. Mine turned out to be allergy related but it was almost like one would trigger several over a period of months. The hardcore regimen from the doctor was all that would help.
Take care and feel better.

Anna - I've never had a migraine, but hear they can be awful.Glad you're feeliing human again.
Getting excited for PS???? I know you are!
Topic: RE: Bad Migraines
Sorry about the headaches. I get them only once or twice a month, every since my second pregnancy. I tried so many different things and funny enough, the thing that worked to best was Excedrin Migrane. You might try it when you are ready to get off the good prescribed meds, and just try something over the counter. You just cannot take it at night because of the caffiene. It definitely makes me feel wired, but it kills the headache, which lasted for 2-3 days at a time.
Sounds like you have a good plan for your surgery! It will be here before you know it. Hopefully you will have a similar experience to mine, and be up and around pretty normily after 3-4 days. Keep us posted!
