1. Yes, I have heard my secret pal and my secret pal has heard from me and she will have a 'valentine' shortly - tee hee 2. I didn't see much of the Super Bowl - although I liked the Budwiser commerical with the axe. 3. The Unit and Brothers & Sisters are my favorites. 4. If I go on vacation, I will go to South Dakota in June. My dad's 85th birthday is then and he has requested a 'big' party. 5. I am 4 pounds from 'my' goal (135). I am 1 pound below my doctor's goal (140). 6. I would love to have plastic surgery. I need 'boobs'. Mine have just evaporated 7. It has strained some of my relationships. A number of people (including my husband) are always pushing 'food' - here eat this.....they seem to think I've gotten TOO thin. 8. I bought a 'journey' necklace 9. Passion of the Christ 10. It is -5 here in Pittsburgh. Coming from South Dakota, though, it isn't all that bad. We are used to -25 air temperature this time of year. But given there is 135 pounds less of me now - it is pretty damn cold. I much prefer 'warm' Rose from PA

I thought that it would help me "loosen up" in my love life, but unfourtanatly, I am still the same. The budweiser one with the two apes and one was suppose to jump the fence and get the budweiser but instead he just smiled really big and posed for the camera....... 3) What is your favorite tv show at present? so many 4) Are you going on vacation this year and if so where? disneyland, reno, and maybe kentucky to see my step daughter and step grandson 5) How far are you from goal? My doctor never gave me a goal but I would like to get down another 20 pounds...I have been losing inches and no weight for about 3 months.... 6) Are you considering plastic surgery and if so what is the most important to you. Yes, the flap that hangs low under the belly button and below the equator..ugh!. 7) Has this surgery changed any of your relationships? No, Not really ..And all my fellow co-workers and residents that I take care of have been very supportive with words of wisdom and love. Making it easier and less uncomfortable. In the beginning before I had surgery I didn't want any one to know just in case if I didn't get approve or I didn't stick to it. But I am so glad I went through this process and change of lifestyle. 8) What did you do to honor/your surgiversary? I know I shouldn't have but my assistant took me out to lunch to Su Hong Chinese restaurant. My son gave me a card with a lot of nice words. And my husband treated it like another day.....But i do get remarks once in a while about my new look... 9) What is the last movie you saw in a theater? I jus****ched Prince on the halftime show... LOVED that he did a cover of "Best of You" by the Foo Fighters (one of my favorite groups) and that he did "Purple Rain"... That's kind of me and Brian's "song" I guess... It's a long story... LOL 3) What is your favorite tv show at present? * I am a Grey's Anatomy fanatic... LOVE BOSTON LEGAL... and I also LOVE Brothers and Sisters too 4) Are you going on vacation this year and if so where? * Not sure yet... depending on if I move and how much I can save from my bonus after my sister's wedding is over... may just take some random road trips with Brian and some with the girls... but we were looking into a cruise or maybe even Hawaii... 5) How far are you from goal? * As of today I am about 4 lbs from my personal goal of 150. I am 19 lbs shy of my surgeon's goal of 135... I see him mid-April and I am hoping to have hit it by then... Wish Me Luck! 6) Are you considering plastic surgery and if so what is the most important to you. In a dream world where I was rich, I would love to get a total body lift But being realistic, I carried so much weight in my lower half that I really need to get my thighs done and my batwings are a mess too... and I would love to get a breast lift... 7) Has this surgery changed any of your relationships? * Ummmm... most definitely! It has made me closer with my parents, because in their eyes, I made the right choice by myself and I am doing it. I followed through and I am now healthy and happier. It has made my relationship with my sister a little stranger, especially when I am now giving her my bigger clothes and she gave me her old skinny clothes and I am now through them. It's kind of a role-reversal with her. She was always the skinny pretty one that got the attention and now it's me. Sounds wrong to say, but it's the truth. With my friends, it's been strained too. Especially this past week. Now that I am able to wear clothes that I like and that I am now getting attention and dating, it's not exactly easy for the girls to handle. They don't know this stronger version of me that is going out and taking risks and is not self-destructing as they expected. It's been beyond catty with them this week and I am just over it. As for the guy friends, ummm, yeah.... they seem to like this new and improved version of me too. I am more bold and comfortable in my skin. They notice that. And these are mostly the ones that have been there from the beginning too. My friendship with Jason is on a whole new, and surprisingly good, level even after all the chaos of this past year with him... my friend Adam is around more now and is looking out for me and such.... Brian moving home was the best thing for me... he is my best friend and now that he is divorced, we are both going out and dating people and helping each other with all of this new stuff.... And Ed... well, he was my first pseudo-relationship post surgery... We didn't know how to handle each other and we BOTH made mistakes to ruin what started without us realizing it before it was there... we broke up last week and while he confessed he was seeing someone else for a while and he lied about it... we are actually building a really good friendship out of the ruins... we are where we should've been all along... and instead of being a witch and holding onto the hurt and bitterness, I let it go. Not worth it. We are closer now than I think we have ever been and we are getting there. ** I am sorry for rambling, but for me this is such a loaded question especially this past week!! ** 8) What did you do to honor/your surgiversary? * Basically, Brian took me out to dinner... had my 30th birthday 8 days later which was a surprise party and sooooo amazing! Then went to Vegas the following weekend 9) What is the last movie you saw in a theater? *I think "Accepted" which is really funny if you haven't seen it 10) How cold is it where you are? *I think it's about 5* here too... way too cold!!
