I am soooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!
Well it is definate! My husband and I made a decision on where we will be going for our (early) 20th wedding anniversary and a belated 1 year sursiversay for me! We are going to the Dominican Republic on March 3 through the 10th and I am so excited. We booked today and the pictures and the reviews are absolutely wonderful. There will be sun, warmth and just the teo of us. When we got married we took our best man and his Fiance' with us on our honeymoon which was to Cape Cod because he flew in from England to be in our wedding 2 months before his wedding. This time it will be just the two of us and WE so need this! It is only 9 weeks from tomorrow morning and I am already planning shopping trips for a new bathing suit and shorts and sundresses. I have never been to a tropical Island. Wanted to share our plans with all my wonderful friends here! I better get tanning as I am the whitest white person you have ever seen!
~~hugs and well wishes~~

Congrats Chris,, I guarantee you will have the time of your life. I have been to Dominican Republic 4 times in my life so far and am heading back march 27th or april 3rd ( we book a cpl weeks in advance to get the good deals) Where are you going to be staying? ***** Cana? Puerto Plata? Santa Domingo? Every time we go there we go to Puerto Plata, we have actually made some good friends there. If its puerto plata that you are going to, let me know which resort maybe I can offer you some tips, give you info about the excursions avaiable and ideas to save you money!!!
Regardless, u will have a blast! That island is so hospitable and beautiful!!
I cannot wait to go back and wear a bathing suit without feeling like an elephant!!
take care!

Hi Lora, we are going to ***** Cana and staying at the Iberostar ***** Cana. I am so excited and looking forward to this. I am a little nervous about the bathing suit thing because of my saggy thighs but hopefully it will not be so bad. My husband joked and said I could go topless but I told him my nipples would be mistaken as sea shells.
