Been running around alot this holiday season. In additon to seeing "Mama Mia" the other night which was fabulous I got to see two movies and they were both really good. The best was Dreamgirls. A must see if you grew up in the 60's and a need to see if you didn't. It was just wonderful. And if your looking for a great "Girls Nite Out" kind of movie go see The Holiday. Definately a chick flick so don't drag your significant other to see it unless they owe you big. But I loved it. Anyone else see any good flicks lately? Have a happy and safe new year one and all Sending hugs, Ronna

Ronna: I want to see BOTH of those movies but a.) my parents left to return to FL so there is no chance in hell I am getting to the movies anytime soon and b.) my husband would rather chew his arm off than see either of them. However, I DID get to see two movies this holiday season (thank you, Mom and Dad!!). I saw Happy Feet...bo-ring! And I saw Casino Royale. I did not pick either movie. I ESPECIALLY did not pick the Bond flick but...I gotta tell ya...I am crushing a little on the new Bond. He is yummy beyond words. Made an otherwise intolerable movie tolerable! Well, that is not really fair. If the movie continued to be as great as the first 15 minutes were, it would have been phenominal. But at the 16th minute, it fizzled. Thanks for the recommendations, Chickie...at least I will know what to look for on DVD!! Hugs, Jersey

I saw The Queen and highly recommend it. Hellen, the queen should win the oscar easily, she was wonderful.

We went the day after Christmas to see Charlotte's Web. I wanted to see it but DH and my boys talked me into NOT. So we saw "NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM" It is so good. It has Robin Williams, Ben Stiller, Dick Van Dike, Mickey Rooney, and Owen Wilson. The museum comes to life at night. It's so cool We enjoyed it but I'm still going to see Charlotte's Web sometime! Have a great NEW YEAR!!! Hugs, Julie
