Wednesday is your
day! Just remember
you are on the
journey of a
lifetime. Try to
enjoy every minute.
It may sound weird
now, but know that
you are cared for
and prayed for here,
and all too soon
this will be but a
memory and you will
be an inspiration to
someone else. I am
waiting for you on
the losers' bench! ~

2 weeks post-op Well, I made it through the surgery ok and am recovered for the most part. Everything went well in Costa Rica. Everyone was great! I would recommend this to anyone. I have been on liquids for the past 2 weeks and just started to eat the pureed diet today. I don't like the oatmeal, because it has the protein powder and it is made with water, so I think I'll just stick with the protein shake. Also, I don't like the baby food- tried the bananas today(gross)! The mashed potatoes are the best!!! I went back to work on Sunday night and it went well. I am excited to finally be on the loser's bench, as of last Thursday I was down 15 pounds since surgery and I lost 12 pounds pre-op, so it's a good feeling. Even though I am not hungry, it is still hard not being able to eat like "normal" people, but I am consoled with the weight loss and the fact that I will be able to eat again soon!

Glad to hear you are doing well. I found the protein viles on this website, but can't seem to find them again. Keep your weight tracker updated so we can track your weight loss!
