It's hard to believe I am 1 week away from surgery! My date is moved back a day to June 18th, which is okay, now we can see some of Costa Rica on the 17th before my surgery. Maybe I can even enjoy some of the authentic cuisine.   I am slowly getting ready for the trip, although there isn't much I can do since I have to work everyday until Saturday, so that will be a busy day for us. (Who am I kidding, I know I'll be doing all the packing and gathering). But, I will have my husband do the laundry before Saturday, so that will be a big help. It still doesn't quite seem real to me. I guess it may not until I either get there, or even until I awake in the recovery room. I plan on smiling the whole time (even if there is pain). Well, enough for now.
