Surgeon Testimonial Valerie J. Halpin, M.D. Excellent surgeon. She did what others said was impossible to do. Dr Eagon only wanted to do an open RNY, not her; she tried to do the laproscopy and was succesful. She saved me many days of recooperation, pain and money. I am self pay and that will make a big difference for me! No ICU and went home on the third day! Thank you, Dr Halprin. She has a sense of humor, she pays attention, and an excellent, kind surgeon. Hello there. I am 53 and have battled my weight most of my adult life. I had a stomach stapling about 20 yrs ago and lost 27 pounds. That was at 227. Now, I am over 300. What a roller coaster ride too. Food has been my friend what I am down, when I am up, when I am lonely, and when I am with others. I lost my wonderful friend and that has taken a terrible toll on me. I am trying to fight this saddness but this is bigger than me right now. I want to learn from you all and help any way I can.
