    I would love to hear what some of things are that you're cooking in your crockpot.

    I make pulled pork sandwiches and just eat the meat- the family eats the bread.  All it is is country style pork ribs, a bottle of A1 cajun bbq sauce and a bottle of regular bbq sauce and a sliced up onion.  Then after like 8 hours of cooking, I shred it and add some more bbq sauce and for the boys I put coleslaw on it and put it in a sandwich.

    I also make french dips in the crock pot.  Ooooh and chicken and mushrooms and some cream of mushroom soup.  Oh and roast...mmmm.  I take the roast and sprinkle garlic powder all over it and add a can of cream of celery and a can of cream of mushroom.  So good.  Oooh and pork chops w/ cream of celery and cream of mushroom and a beef bullion cube.  So good.

    I got this one from someone on the RNY board.  I made it the other night and everybody went ga-ga over it! (I skipped the refried beans because some of my family won't eat 'em but it would probably have been wonderful with them).

    Crock Pot Chicken Fajitas
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, or 2-3 cans chicken breast
    1 package Taco seasoning
    1 onion chopped
    2 bell peppers (any color), sliced thin
    1 can FF Refried beans
    1 jar salsa
    1 can diced tomatoes (I use Rotel for more kick)
    1 can Black beans, rinsed and drained
    Toppings Ideas -
    Shredded cheese
    Sour cream
    Guacamole
    Layer in order in crock pot, smooth refried beans out before adding salsa. If you don't want it as juicy drain the tomatoes.
    Cook on low 6-8 hours. Top with cheese and anything else you want. Enjoy!
    My husband loves to makes burritos out of this, I eat it without tortillas.
    I was just coming to post this recipe - thanks Billie!  This is one of our favorites, and honestly all the refried beans do is thicken it up a bit no one would even know they were there.
    Also wanted to add - you can use leftover or rotissary chicken or leftover pot roast. Sometimes I mix it up and do both chicken and beef.
    Hey Jan!  I've already decided this is going to be my lunch the first week back to school!  I'm going to make a big crockpot full and fridge it and take some with me each day to microwvae.  I was so worried bout what to eat because time will be short and choices have to be made before leaving home and this is soooooo perfect!  A couple more like your wonderful recipe and I'll be set for the school year!
    Thanks again!
    One of the best ways to make a turkey breast is in the crockpot.  I used the bone in turkey breast you of course thaw it.  I take Bells poultry seasoning, 4-5 chicken boullion cubes, and 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil on the stove until the boullion has disintergrated.  The you take margarine or butter and bast the turkey breast.  Pour the mixture from the stove over the turkey breast in the crockpot and I cook on Low all day while I'm at work and it falls off the bone.  Also if
    you like gravy the drippings I make homemade gravy with.  But I have found it makes the moistest most delicious turkey.
    Put a smoked ham hock in the crock pot, sort and rinse 2 lbs of dry pinto beans, put them in the crock pot and cover with enough water to go about 2 inches above the beans, add about 1 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper, and cook for about 12 hours until the beans are soft.  Stir every now and then after the beans soften to break some of them up and thicken the juice.  Yummy alone or with cornbread, and you can add the leftovers to your tacos, burritos, etc....
    You can buy just the smoked ham hock in the grocery store, and they are cheap.  I got 2 for $1.98 in the bacon/sausage/ham department.
