Go Kelly! I'm cheering for you because I am a neighbor in Blaine. I am getting ready to go through this process myself. I just started looking for a doc about 3 weeks ago. I have thought about this surgery for about 3 years. I called to schedule a consult with Dr. Buchwald. The first date available was Oct. 30. I'm gonna have a hard time waiting that long just to get started on this thing. I also have scheduled an appointment with Dr Rupp in St Paul, I could get in to see him July 31. I'm not sure which surgeon to go with at this point. I'm curious how long it took to get a surgery date with Dr. Buchwald after you finally got approval from the insurance company.
